The Woman’s Board of The Hadley School for the Blind in Winnetka, IL will hold its annual braille holiday card sale with proceeds benefitting Hadley and supporting its tuition-free distance education programs for blind and visually impaired students and their families. $28 for a box of 25 cards plus shipping. October 16 – January 4, 2010

Utah State Library, Utah Arts Council and Utah State History, Salt Lake City, are co-sponsoring an exhibition of the work of Utah artists with disabilities at the Mezzanine at the Rio Gallery, 300 South Rio Grande Street. The gallery is open Mondays through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is an opening reception for artists and the general public on October 16, from 6 to 9 p.m."

The Trustees and Director of the Jodi Mattes Trust take great pleasure in inviting you to  the 2009 Jodi Awards... Sackler Centre... Victoria and Albert Museum... Wednesday 2 December, 2009... 6.00 - 8.30 pm


The Jodi Awards are for museums, galleries, libraries, archives, arts organisations and heritage venues, which use digital technology to widen access to information, collections, learning and creativity for disabled people. This year sees the launch of our new International Award... BSL will be provided on the night... Access to the Sackler Centre is via the staff entrance, on Exhibition Road, which has level access...
